Keep both papers so the names and amounts stay together. ## What can I check before paying the bill myself? Keep any letter that explains why payment was refused. Compare its treatment name with the clinic's written price. If the names differ, ask both offices to explain why. Don't rely on a promise that someone may send a bill later.
